It was a good day to be in God’s house, good singing, Sunday school, and many, many prayers said for our family, friends, and neighbors.

Brother Scottie Eaves brought both messages this Sunday. The morning message was the calling of the seventy and the evening message was about Paul fighting the good fight.

Piland Youth Junior Camp will begin May 29, if you have children from grade 3 to 6, they would be welcome to come.

Communion and feet washing will be June 10 in the morning service, please join us if you can.

The group, “Big Creek” will be singing at Mt. Tabor, June 16, 7 p.m. Come expecting to be blessed.

Mae Cox had a phone visit with Jack Haden, of Republic, saying his brother, Jim, was making improvement.

Ronnie and Pat Lansdown were in West Plains Tuesday evening with their grandson, Jadon, while Doug was attending a school function.

Myrl Cox reports the sad news that her sister, Verla, of California, passed away. Myrl and two more sisters are all that remain of the 13 children of the Colonel Vogt family.

Visitors with Bessie Hall this past week were Carla Wilson, Jewell Elliott, J.C. and Vicky, Lisa Johnson and Jesse, Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock, Kay Hutchison, and Kim Clements.

Jeff and Kristy Tackett, Steven and Stephanie, arrived Saturday to spend the weekend with her parents, Harold and Kay Hutchison. They came to attend the graduation of Dylan Clements. Joining the group Saturday evening before the event was Dan and Kim Clements, Morgan and Dylan. Morgan also spent the night with the group.

Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock visited Tom and Rosie Harris Tuesday afternoon, and found Tom to be doing better.

MaKayla and Logan Elliott spent Monday with Tom and Jewell Elliott. Tom and Jewell also attended Logan’s t-ball game Tuesday evening.
