Don't Miss

Easter Sunday service opened with fellowship time then prayer requests and prayer. The Praise Team did an awesome job of leading us in praise songs.

Brother Roberts brought the message from Luke 24: 1-8, “Why Do We Treat Jesus as if He is Still Dead? He’s Alive!”

Attending Walnut Grove Church and then having Sunday dinner with Bob and Nora Edwards were Toby and Jacinda Sheppard, Shelden and Kendra Walker, Miranda Milligan, Shawn and Alexis Swearengin, Stacey and Ruth  Sheppard, Cody Sheppard, Leann, Emily and Shelby  Sargent, Dallee, Taylor and Trenton Sheppard. After dinner, an Easter Egg hunt was enjoyed. Others visiting the Edwards during the week were Bob and Carol Rooker, Jim and Marilyn Sickler, Morgan Maggard and Delmar and Margaret Rosseau.

On Wednesday, Delmar and I rode to Springfield with Vern and Kathleen Deatherage. We shopped and then ate at the HuHot Cafe’. It was neat to choose the food you want to eat then watch the cooks cook it right there in front of you.

On Friday, Donna Bannister came down and drove us to Branson where we all enjoyed a visit with Betty and Justice DeChenne. While there, we saw the storm damage which is unbelievable. We shopped at Dick’s 5 and 10. I enjoy that store because it has so many of the old fashioned items from years gone by.

On Friday evening my Brother and sister-in-law,Vern and Kathleen Deatherage came down and cooked a breakfast-for-supper for us all.

On Saturday, Tabitha Burton brought Raylee and Caydee Burton down to spend the day with us. We colored eggs and they also helped me make homemade hot rolls.

On Sunday, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams surprised us and showed up here in time to attend church with us.

After church Sunday morning, those coming to our house for Easter dinner were Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Bill and Jeraldeen Carter, Rusty, Becky, Hailey and Maeson Carter, Gary and Bevy Moore, Eldon Bice and Pauline Okhuysen.

Later on Sunday, Delmar and I made a trip to Mansfield and visited with Keith and Donna Bannister, Shawn, Summer, Caidence and Conner Johnson.

Until next week remember, Because He lives, we can face tomorrow.
