Don't Miss

Sandy Church

After we read our devotional from Revelations 22, prayer requests were given for Corby Lux, Eugene Banks, Palmer Pellham, Paul Duckworth, the unsaved, our military and those in nursing homes.  Van Menzies prayed this prayer.

Happy birthday was sung to Stan Humbyrd.  He will be the big 50 on Wednesday, April 25th.  After Sunday school, Danny Johnson led us in a song.

Stan Humbyrd prayed the offertory prayer as he and Van Menzies received our Lord’s tithes and offerings with LeaAnn Crum at the piano followed by handshaking.

Pastor Neal greeted us and made the following announcements.  Jordan Humbyrd will be graduating from Seymour High School on Saturday, May 12 at 6 p.m. Ashton Crum will be graduating from Bradleyville High School on Saturday, May 12 at 7 p.m. White River Association camp will be held in June for four weeks.  Workers are needed.

LeaAnn Crum, Director of Options Pregnancy Clinic, gave appreciation to all who attended the Walk/Run on Saturday at the Ava City Park.  Several from our church were in attendance.  There was also a walk at Lutie.

LeaAnn and Erin Crum sang for us and Pastor Neal read from Psalms 118, a song of thanksgiving for the Lord’s salvation.

We opened our 6 p.m. service with singing followed by testimonies and prayer requests with prayer followed by Pastor Neal.  He read the three parables in Luke 15, the lost sheep, the lost coin and the prodigal son,  teaching us Jesus came to seek and to save the lost.  Also showing us the great compassion Jesus had and challenging us to a greater compassion.

Every Tuesday at 7 p.m. is prayer meeting; every Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible study in the book of Exodus.  Come and be with us.  You are always welcome.
