Don't Miss

Sandy Church

Prayer requests were given for Jim Haden, John Watson, Coleen and family, revival, Randy Dalton in revival in Texas and lost loved ones.  Sonya Hodges prayed this prayer.

We sang with testimonies shared in between songs.  A great spirit was present.  Let us listen to the Spirit.  Happy birthday was sung to Kim Humbyrd.

After Sunday school, Aaron Humbyrd and Clay McFarlin received our Lord’s tithes and offerings.  Clay prayed the offertory prayer.  Testimonies were given and shared about salvation and the story of the cross.  Peggy Miller read a poem.

Pastor Neal prayed the pastoral prayer and read from Luke 14, discipleship and counting the costs.  What excuses do we have not to be in the Lord’s house? “ If any man come to me and hates not his own life also cannot be my disciple”.

Dawnya McFarlin dismissed us in prayer.

At 6 p.m., congregational singing began our service. Prayer requests were given for Cody Menzies and Options Pregnancy Clinic clients.   A thank you note was read from Dr. Sam and Sherry Evans.

Danny Johnson led us in songs with LeaAnn Crum at the piano.   Van Menzies was our speaker.  He read from Psalm 103. He spoke how we bless the Lord.  Let us praise God.

LeaAnn Crum will be speaking to the Seymour Church of God on Wednesday night regarding Options Pregnancy Clinic.  The clinic will have a Walk/Run on April 21, 2012 in Ava.

Tuesdays at 7 p.m. is prayer meeting and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. is Bible study.  Come and worship the Lord.
