Red Bud News

A good morning to our readers. We hope everyone had a great weekend. Some rain, but no storms that I know of around here.

On Sunday afternoon Pastor Tom came and shared with us the word of God from Psalms, chapter 119 and verse 169-176. The group enjoyed a sing-a-long in a few songs. Pastor Tom will be here the 6th of May for our next meeting, so mark it down so you will know.

This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. On Thursday Wanda Hutchinson took Fae to the doctor in Springfield. We ate dinner at Golden Corral. My visitors have been David Williams, Dean Easley and Lois Graham. Other news as following is that Carl and June Curry’s son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Carol from Longmont, Colorado have been visiting for two weeks in April with the Curry’s. We truly hope that they enjoyed their visit here.

We say welcome to our new residents.

There has been a lot of sickness in our village with many going to the doctor. We hope everyone is better at this writing.

Visitors of Norma Jones on Saturday afternoon were Amy June and Naomi Watkins. They came to check on the sick. Also Ellis Stephens stopped in to check on the sick and visit with the girls. Your reporter has been sick for a week. Jacob Watkins spent the weekend with his daddy, Steven, at Mansfield. Norma got phone calls from Robin and Stephinie to find out more on some paper work for Stephinie for school. I was glad to hear from the them.
