Highway Patrol Reports Wreck Monday In Eastern Douglas Co.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated a wreck Monday morning on Highway 181 in eastern Douglas County.

Tpr. Rob Crewse, who investigated the wreck, said Gerald W. Kyle, 65, of Ava, ran his 2000 Chevrolet off the road and struck a ditch. Kyle was airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries, following the 8:15 a.m. wreck.
