Well after a couple weeks off, I’ll try and write some news this week.  We are still being blessed with beautiful weather.

I spent from Friday night, March 23rd to Saturday, March 31st in Moberly visiting Debbie and Shelby Hutchison, Jamie, Devin, Bailee, Lauryn and Hayden Snodgrass; needless to say I was royally entertained by the little girls.  Tracy, Hannah and Devin Griffith took me up there and spent Friday and Saturday nights.

Ann Collins and Chris Hartzell went to Springfield Thursday.  Carol Wise and Riley O’Shea went out and ate Thursday night in honor of Riley’s 15th birthday.  Carol brought Ann home on Sunday.

On Sunday at the home of Bertha and Dean Scherer the following gathered for a belated birthday celebration to honor Bertha (her birthday was also the 29th); Agnes Williams, Ann Collins, Ella May Daugherty, Carol Wise, River Stillwood, Sheila Falwell, Karen Fredrick, Sirena and Isabell Bradshaw.  Leroy and Jesse Gunter of Mtn. Grove came by also and brought Bert and Dean some fish.

Doug Fredrick, Jared and Cole Bradshaw and Levi Evans also went fishing Sunday and had good luck too, I think.

I’m sure there was rejoicing Sunday in heaven as J.D. Williams was called home.  We loved he and Velma both, he was our pastor at Gentryville Community Church for several years.  Our deepest sympathy to his family.

I was surprised, but pleased, to see the article in the Herald of Bud’s induction into the Field Trial Hall of Fame.  He would have been pleased.

The only birthdays I know for April is Ann Collins the 16th, Sharleen Daugherty the 29th.

Get well wishes to all the sick and God bless everyone.
