Gentry Church

To start, our opening prayer was by Doug Miller.  In our Sunday School lesson, we learned when Jesus performed His first miracle, turning the water into wine, He won over His disciples and they believed.

Always put your trust, belief and power, in the name of Jesus.

Happy Birthday wishes went out to Kelsey Young and our special song was by Ramona Henning.

On March 24th, at 7 p.m., Josh and Erin Allen are hosting a young people’s fellowship meeting…bring snacks!

Next Sunday, the 25th at 2 p.m., is the Fourth Sunday Singing at Breeden.

Wes Hampel’s brother, is going in for open heart surgery this week and also Joanna Huffman is having some back surgery, March 28th, so these folks would appreciate your prayers.

Pastor Hall’s morning message, was from I Timothy 2:1-6.  There is one God and one mediator between God and man…Christ Jesus.  Jesus’ death on the cross, made it possible for us to have Him as our mediator.

In our  evening service, after prayer and congregational singing, our special song was by Rod and Joanne Welker, Brenda Hampel and Wanda Casady.

Brother Riley’s message, was from John 18:37.  What is Your Goal in Life?  Jesus had a goal to save souls.  Moses had a goal to lead the people, Solomon’s goal was to build the temple, and John the Baptist’s goal was to be the forerunner of Jesus.  We should be willing to have a goal, pray through, energize the church, seek the lost and walk in the footsteps of Jesus.
