Don't Miss

Roy and Linda Freeman went to Springfield and brought Cecilia Edwards home from the hospital Friday evening and Bonnie Phipps went over to her daughter’s home and stayed for three days with her.

Debbie Cederlind came down Friday evening and went by her sisters, Cecilia, to see how she was doing before going over to her mothers, Bonnie Phipps, and stayed all night then Saturday Debbie and Bonnie went over to Cecilia’s and cooked her some food. Debbie went back home that evening.

George and Violet came by last Monday afternoon and picked up some eggs and they said that Pam Grant and her family was coming down when she got off from work to their house.

I had little Jett four days last week and Tara brought him all four times and picked him up twice and Justin picked him up the other two times.

Lakota came over after school to watch Jett Wednesday evening so I could go to Bible study at Mt. Tabor. Those who attended and weren’t sick or wore out from working all day were Don and Evelyn Bryan, Jewell Elliott, Nina Carter and Hellen Blakey. We studied about God’s Prophetic Calendar from Calvary to the Kingdom and next week it will be about the Passover. It will start at seven, but if you want to come at six-thirty, we will have a little refreshment first, everyone is welcome.

Gregory and Pam Grant, Hailey and Cameron came by Thursday afternoon and visited with me and Jett before they headed back home.

James and Mark came by on Friday and Mark brought me some more eggs, in the afternoon I took some eggs to town and delivered them to my girls.

On my way out of town Saturday I stopped by KKOZ and at Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock’s then I stopped by Justin and Brittany Kutz’s in Sparta and neither one of them was home. Brittany was in Kansas City, studying for a test so I went on to Ozark where I was going to visit with my niece, but she went to a birthday party so I went on over and saw Liz Bailey and talked to her. This time she opened her eyes a little and before she wouldn’t.

I  visited the Dollar Tree and got lots of cards and pretty ones and filled up with gas and then waited for Monica Reemes and Anita Ray to come. We went to Springfield to the Girl’s Night Out where we listened to Mandisa and Laura Story sing spiritual songs.

I want to say hi to Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Robertson in Arkansas. Monica said she talked to you and I just want to wish you both good health.

I like to write what I know and it helps some people  that read it so no one should care for me to use them in the paper because it lets them know you are still around, right?

Saturday I received three-tenths of an inch and others got more.

Sunday the O.E.S. women and men went to the Goodhope General Baptist Church for the morning service. Those attending were Carol Moore, Mike and Charlotte Bock, Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Marie Dickey, Connie Bacorn, Doris Morrison, Sally Prock, Wally and Shirley Jessen and Hellen Blakey.

We heard a real good message from David Welch and after the service we ate dinner with the church.

I had stopped by and picked Freeda Richards up and took her to church and then I took her home after we ate. We visited all afternoon and then I went to see Bessie Hall before I went to the evening service at Mt. Tabor where Max Stephens brought us a good message.

Jimmie Posey is in the hospital and I don’t know all the details yet, but hope he will get better quick.

Marsha Blakey will go into the hospital April 2 to have a mass removed from her kidney so lets keep all our sick folks in our prayers.

My prayers and sympathy goes out to all who have lost a loved one.

Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.

Happy 50th Anniversary to Gorden and Glenda Sanders on Sunday, March 25 from Marsha and Hellen.
