I took my news in last Monday and then got my taxes done. After all that I went over and got my new tags for my car license. That evening I went to my O.E.S. meeting here in Ava.
Visitors in my home last Tuesday were Tara Coonce and Jett, Mark Blakey, James Blakey and Gary Shelton.
Tara brought Jett Wednesday and while he was here James came by to see him.
Thursday I had a doctor’s appointment in Springfield so on the way up there I stopped by Donna’s to give her some boxes to pack with as she is going to have to move out this month from where she is living.
When I got to Springfield I met Monica and she went with me to the doctor and then she took me out to eat and she then went on to work and I came on home.
Visiting in my home Thursday was Tara, Jett and James then Nina Carter came by and brought me some papers since I didn’t make it to her house Wednesday night.
Saturday afternoon I went by Patty Kraft’s and visited with her and met her daughter, Angela, before I went to the nursing home and saw Pauline Shauffler, Roxie Heimeyer, Peggy Jenkins and Irene Richards and took them a little valentine gift.
Then I went on over to the lodge hall and helped them get ready for the sweetheart dance we put on. We had 32 dancers and 9 members that helped park the cars and serve the food and Mike Bock kept the music going. We sure appreciate everyone that came out and participated in it.
Bro. James Hathcock preached for us Sunday at Mt. Tabor and he brought a good message.
I went and visited with Mae Cox after church then stopped at Bessie Hall’s and then at Clifford and Imogene Madewell’s and gave Clifford a birthday gift, when I left there it was getting late so I didn’t make the next two stops and just came on home.
Lets keep our sick folks in our prayers. My prayer and sympathy goes out to all who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and tiehr families and the ones in training in our prayers.
