Red Bank News

Church service at Red Bank began with hymns led by Brother Gary Lirley.  Brother Jerry Huff greeted members and guests before dismissing them to their respective Sunday school classes.
Worship music was led by Brother Gary.   Brother Les preached from Ephesians 2 to say that God is Supreme.  Verse 10 makes our relationship to Him, as Christians, very clear, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”  He is our loving Father.  In Matthew 7:7 Jesus said, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

This has been a quiet week.  Gary and I visited with his mother, Maxine Lirley, at the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center Monday afternoon.  She seems to be doing fine.  We saw and waved at Willene Adams and Angie Adams while we were there.  They were both busy playing Bingo at the time.

A party for the Red Bank Christmas play cast is being planned for Wednesday, Jan. 25.  Everyone will be rewarded with plenty of ice cream, cake, and finger foods.  I understand that games and crafts will also be involved.  Sounds like fun.

Gary visited with Ralph Laughlin one day this week and thanked him for his help in getting our son-in-law’s truck fixed.

Take care.  Love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
