Black Oak Church

“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it,” Matthew 7:14.

Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we sang. He read I Corinthians 10:1-13 for the devotion. I prayed for the prayer requests. Please remember the Stout family, Fanya, Dara, Reece, Macee, Quin, Liviya, Betty and family, Jennifer’s Mom, unspoken, unsaved, bereaved, our country, and each other.

Hunter, Blayne, Reece and Dailyn did the penny march for Camp Piland.

Brother Bobby took up the tithes and offerings. Hunter, Blayne and Dailyn sang a special.

January Birthdays are Pastor David, Violet Stanifer, Glenn and Louise Simpson. We wish you many more blessed birthdays.

Pastor David was sick Sunday morning so Brother Dennis Downs preached for him. We appreciate Dennis and Jennifer so much.

Pastor David was able to be there Sunday evening. He sang then preached from Rev. 3:1-6 on being a church that is full of the power of God. It causes personal growth and souls to be saved. It causes us to be excited about ministering to the hurting, encouraging one another, and to be devoted to Him and His work.

We pray everyone has a great year and will keep God and His ways first in your life. If you do He will bless you always.
