The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Jennifer L. Lirley, 24, of Ava, suffered moderate injuries Tuesday when the truck she was driving overturned on Highway 76 west of Ava. Lirley was traveling west when the 2003 Chevrolet pickup she was driving ran off the right side of the road. The driver overcorrected and ran off the left side of the roadway, striking a concrete culvert, overturning and coming to rest in the ditch. Lirley was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield by Cox Ambulance with moderate injuries, according to the Troop G Highway Patrol report. The wreck occurred 15 miles west of Ava at 7:35 a.m. and was investigated by Highway Patrol Sgt. Keith Jones.
