City of Ava Welcomes New
City of Ava this week announced the employment of Justin Kastning as the city’s new director of Parks and Recreation.
Justin will be handling all the leagues programs, which includes fall and spring soccer, winter basketball and little league, as well as operations of the water park and other park programs.
Justin is from Seymour and has a good working knowledge of various sports programs, having previously worked with the YMCA and other youth directed programs.
“The city welcomes Justin to our staff and looks forward to an exciting new year of parks and recreation programs,” says Peggy Porter, administrative director.
