Ava Couple Hurt In Motorcycle
An Ava couple were hospitalized last Saturday after the motorcycle they were riding crashed on Highway 14, one half mile east of Sparta in Christian County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the 2004 Yamaha operated by Dustin W. Stout, 33, of Ava was eastbound and failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the roadway.
Stout sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield by private vehicle.
A passenger, Sabrina J. Stout, 31, Ava, was also taken to Cox South with moderate injuries.
The wreck occurred at 4:45 p.m. and was investigated by Tpr. S. Rice.
