Highway Patrol Seeking Hit and Run Driver

On Tuesday, July 22, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper, with assistance from the Shannon County Sheriff’s Department, investigated a fatality hit-and-run traffic crash on U.S. Highway 60 near Winona in Shannon County.
This crash resulted in the death of an 82-year-old Mountain View man and serious injury to his 78-year-old wife.

Testimonial and physical evidence from the crash scene has identified a suspect vehicle described as an unknown year blue, Ford Super-Duty extended cab, long bed pickup. The vehicle may have chrome mirrors and should have damage to the right side. The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound from the scene on U.S. Highway 60.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is asking anyone who has information related to this case to please call Troop G Headquarters at (417) 469-3121.
