3-18-13. Friday and Saturday gave us a preview of spring which is around the corner. I noticed the cows were out eating on the fresh, green grass that is seeking up through the ground.
After Bible study on Tuesday morning at Goodhope Baptist Church Norma Cross and I went to Ava and stopped to see Peggy Jenkins at the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center. She has almost lost her hearing and sight both, but she enjoys company any way. Randy had changed her room around to give her more room, it took a few days for her to find where her things were, we visited a bit with Oliver Lee Jenkins as he was leaving her room.
Julian Cavalier came up and worked on a door for me one evening. Jessie and Amber, our neighbors came with him. We had a good visit.
Ray Cunningham called me last week to tell me about Tom Johnson being in the hospital. Also about Carol Gott getting burned. Our prayers go out to them.
I called Sue Brown to ask about Tom. He is going to have eighteen treatments, starting today the 18th. There is so much sickness going around. It was good to see Lodene and Ervin and Susan Adams back in church Sunday. Freda Richards wasn’t able to make it to church Sunday. She hasn’t been feeling good for a while.
