Hello from Breedon Church. Our regular Sunday school leader, Joe Lafferty read the 75th Psalm. Danny Lee said the opening prayer.
Our lesson was in the 15th chapter of Corinthians. The 52nd verse says, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed.”
This chapter is for the hope we Christians have looking forward to the coming of our Lord.
Lee Hampton led the opening prayer. We had question and answer time. We really learn a lot and refresh our minds on the Bible.
Specials were by David Willliams and Wilma Hampton and Susie Sisco.
Joe preached at the 11o’clock hour, in II Timothy chapter 1 and led in prayer. Verse one says, “He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.” This verse gives hope to the Christians that are steadfast in the Lord. What a blessing!
We sang the invitational song. Sue Holmes dismissed in prayer.
Services started Sunday evening at 6 p.m. The text was the 55th chapter of Isaiah. Isaiah is a very good book. It is interesting to read and comment on. We sang two congregational songs.
We had a few testimonies and dismissal prayer was given by David Williams. Until next time.
