Food Harvest items were collected for Heart of the Ozarks Food Harvest. We began by reading our devotional from Daniel 6. Many prayer requests were given. Happy birthday was sung to Rick Crum and happy anniversary to Judy Wilson.
A thank you note was read from Buffy Strong. Stan Humbyrd prayed the offertory prayer as he and Cody Menzies received our Lord’s tithes and offerings.
Danny Johnson and Stan Humbyrd led us in songs before the worship time followed by testimonies. Jeff Humbyrd sang. LeaAnn Crum read from Matthew 6.
Pastor Neal was sick and Van Menzies filled in for him. He read from II Timothy 2. We are called to be soldiers to fight and to go to battle prepared. He gave an invitation for prayer time at the altar.
At 6 p.m., again, Van Menzies began with singing and testimonies were given. Jeff Humbyrd led us in prayer.
LeaAnn and Erin Crum sang. Brother Van continued in II Timothy 6. To be a good soldier, we must love what we are fighting for.
We closed with special prayer for Alyssa Boyd.
March 10th will be our monthly fellowship dinner and collection for the backpack program at Plainview School.
March 14th some of the ladies will be cooking for the Options Pregnancy Clinic’s banquet at Ava Victory Academy.
March 22nd will be the monthly Kid’s Night at 6 p.m. at the church.
Every Tuesday at 7 p.m. we have special prayer meeting.
Every Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible study by Pastor Neal from the book of Exodus. Come and be with us. You are always welcome.
