Prayer by Doug Miller opened the morning service.
Our Sunday school lesson was in the book of Daniel teaching us of a glorious reign ahead. Jesus will rule forever and ever. We can rejoice because our Lord is in control.
We appreciate Bob Hammons and Wildwood coming to Gentry to share their talent. They did a wonderful job of singing and lifting people’s hearts with praises and songs.
Just a reminder to turn your clocks up one hour Saturday night so you won’t be late for church.
Visiting Faye and Harley Allen over the weekend was her sisters Charlotte Linder, Shirley Leming, Joyce Wilson, Mae Brock and daughter, Sally England, they all attended church with her.
In our Sunday evening service we had a special reading by Bro. Bob Huskey and a song by Wanda Casady, Rod and Joanne Welker.
We were so glad to have Bro. Bob Huskey and Ella Mae with us Sunday and he brought the message from Isaiah, chapter 53. Jesus Christ was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities and with his stripes we are healed. We have God’s promise of the heritage when we are servants of the Lord.
Bro. Bob Huskey will bring the message next Sunday and Sunday night. Everyone is invited to attend.
