We had another beautiful Sunday to worship the Lord. Today was National Women’s Day and we had a special guest speaker from the district to speak for us, Sister Ronda Amer. Sister Barbara Strong led the first service and did a great job. We missed our Pastor and several men from our church this morning as they had went to a men’s encounter in Lebanon, MO. Sister Amer read some church bloopers before she got to her message which were good . Her message this morning was on Redeemed and being called by name from Isaiah 43-1. Jesus called people by name for different reasons. Zaccheous was called by name for salvation, He called the disciples by name for discipleship in Luke 6:13, in Mark 3:16. He called people by a new name, He called Martha by name to change her attiude in Luke 10:41-42. Mary He called by name to get her out of grief in John 20:3-15. Jesus knows your name today and is asking where are you in your journey with Him. It was a good message to hear.
If you don’t have a home church we would love to have you come and worship with us. We have services at 8:30 and 11:00 Sunday morning with Sunday School for all ages at 10:00, Sunday night services at 6:00, Wednesday night Bible study and prayer at 7:00.
Thought for the week; Character is what you are when no one is watching.
