Wesley Lupton, 61, of Seymour, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at his home.
Wesley was born on Sept. 15, 1951, in Bruner, Mo., to William “Bill” Wesley Lupton and Elizabeth Mary (Hargis) Lupton. He was a graduate of Ozark High School, class of 1971.
He retired from US Security in Kentucky as a truck scaler. He attended the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Rogersville and was a member of the DAV and Trench Rat in Kentucky.
Wesley was married to Lou Ella Davis on April 23, 2011, and she survives, of the home. Also surviving are his mother and father, William and Elizabeth Lupton, of the home; son James Lupton and wife, Amanda, of Beulah, Ky.; stepson John Dunnavant, of Seymour; one daughter, Terra Shea Lupton, of Cunningham, Ky.; two two stepdaughters, Tabatha Ballhagen and husband, Richard, of Lebanon, and Kristie Rowlett and husband, Jake, of West Plains; one sister, Mary Jane Howard, of Springfield; two grandchildren, William Hayden Lupton and Lauryn Grace Lupton; two step-granddaughters, Alysia Denson and Kayla Gann; one great-grandson, Rylian Denson; aunts and uncles Viola Marler, Raymond Hargis, Christine Breshears, Kenneth, Barden and Charlie Lupton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, in the Preston-Marsh Funeral Home, Rogersville, with burial in the Easter Cemetery south of Fordland.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
