Last night we had our first Saturday singing of 2013. If you were not there you missed a blessing. We had a good crowd with a lot of music and fellowship. Remember the fourth Saturday night February and we will do it again. Hope to see you then.
Our morning service began with a welcome to all from Sister Naomi. We sang a song for Jesus and had prayer requests. Prayer was led by Sister Mary. Sister Carla read Psalms 117. We said the pledges to the flags and to the Bible.
Sunday school began with our leader Sister Naomi reading from Ephesians 2:1-22. We had comments and discussion from the class. It was a good lesson.
We sang Happy Birthday to Patsy Stewart and Norman Rush. Dominic gathered up our Coins For Christ. It was time to sing for the Lord. It is such a blessing to sing those good old hymns. They all have such a wonderful message, if we only listen.
We gave our gifts to the Lord with prayer by Sister Naomi. We had specials by Sister Peggy and Bro. Dale. Dominic played Amazing Grace on his saxophone. Great job, Dominic.
We had a group handshake and got prepared for a message from the Lord. Bro. Gregg used scripture from St. Mark 2:1-12. He gave us a good message from the Lord. We closed with a song and dismissed with prayer by Sister Sharron.
We began our evening service with our prayer circle. Another nice large circle around the pews. God is blessing us more each and every time we meet in His house. We had many prayer requests. Prayer was led by Bro. Gregg.
We sang for the Lord and had some specials by Sister DiAnne Ludwig, Bro. Spencer Flake and Sister Peggy.
Bro. Spencer Flake brought us a beautiful message through a puppet show. It was all about the love of God in all the countries brought to them through the missionaries that travel through the different countries.
We were dismissed with prayer by Sister Carla.
We will be having chili and soup at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday night, February 3rd followed by a movie and church services. Come and fellowship with us.
