Fourth Sunday Singing

The regular Fourth Sunday Singing was held at Gentry Church, January 27.  The welcome was given by Emcee, Sybil Gheer; Bro. Riley Hall opened with prayer; song books distributed/collected by Freeman Porter; 44 present; 32 songs shared.  The next Singing will be at Faith Rock, February 24, 2013.

The following churches were recognized:  Ava General Baptist, Breedon, Church of the Living God, Faith Rock, Gentry, Life, Murray, Noble, Oak Grove, and St. Leo’s

Preachers: Riley Hall, Lee Hampton, Bob Huskey, Joe Lafferty and Maxine Lund.

Instrumentalists: Piano: Sybil Gheer, Sue Thomas, Joann Welker, Jena Moyer; Guitar: Lee Allen, Bob Huskey, Joe Lafferty, Edgar Stewart; Bass Guitar: Jerry Moyer; Harmonica: Sybil Gheer

Special music:  Soloist: Bob Huskey, Sharon Skaggs, Linda Prest, Susie Sisco, Edgar Stewart; Trio: Bob Huskey, Susie Sisco, and Ronnie Thomas; Joe Lafferty, Susie Sisco, Ronnie Thomas; Edgar Stewart, Jerry and Jena Moyer and a men’s trio from Gentry Church; Church groups: Breedon and Gentry.  As usual, the final special was provided by the preachers. The Singing was dismissed by Sis. Clara Lafferty.
