Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mr. Williams requested that January citizens meeting be postponed till Jan. 31. We look forward to seeing them on that day.
Among the items on the agenda were: a Kiwanis One Day Project, fundraising ideas and Mid Winter Conference to be held next month in Springdale, Ark.
Glenda, Rick and Donna went to Skyline and Plainview schools on Monday, Jan. 28 to award Terrific Kids there, which we do quarterly.
Kiwanis Club of Ava now offers a “corporate” membership. A business pays the fee, which is the same as for an individual member. Then any employee of that business can represent them at meetings, service projects and fundraisers.
