After singing and prayer requests, we had a very good lesson, and always find we can learn something, even when we have studied it before.
Brother Ric read Ephesians 5:1-20, don’t follow the crowd, but we must put on the new man.
We had business meeting Sunday evening and changed our Sunday night service to Bible study at 5:30 p.m. We are studying from the book, “The Patriarchs”, by Beth Moore and we invite anyone to come and join us, with Sister Nina Carter as our leader.
Mae Cox seems to be doing well, and gaining some strength, we continue to pray for her. Kay Hutchison visited her Tuesday morning.
Mary Ann Hathcock still has a lot of back pain, remember her and Martin when you pray. Their visitors this week were grand-daughter, Liz and Mike and children, Hellen Blakey, Jan Jones and Kay Hutchison. Mary Ann says her sister Ruby, is not doing very well.
Tom Elliott is in treatment again, we wish him the very best. Their visitors have been Larry and Evelyn Burnett, last Friday, Shaun and LeAnna and children, Albert and Doris Elliott. Jewell visited Dennis and Linda Turner, Saturday evening.
Danny, Kim and Morgan Clements visited Harold and Kay Hutchison Monday afternoon.
