What beautiful days we are having! I wonder how long it will last?
We had 20 in our service, some still having trouble with the flu.
Joe Lafferty read the 67th Psalm, to open Sunday School. Danny led the opening prayer. Our lesson was the 6th chapter of Corinthians, a real good lesson. “For ye are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s,” the 20th verse .
We had questions and answers. That really helps keep everybody on their toes trying to find the answers.
At 11 o’clock, Joe Lafferty preached on the 3rd chapter of Colossians. “If ye are risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.” We had a song of invitation and Lee Hampton dismissed in prayer.
We are always glad to have visitors in our church. We need some young people. Michelle and Danny Lee, brought Michelle’s sister’s boys. It was sure nice to see them there. Sue Sisco’s granddaughter broke her right arm, but she is doing fine. Kids have got to break something, playing and having fun.
We dismissed Sunday night service. The weather gets pretty cold in this holler. Until next time, God bless.
