December 23rd – Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone by taking prayer rquests and praise reports. Prayer was given by Jeff Shipley. Jack read Psalms 97 for devotion. We had a very interesting discussion in Sunday school.
Praise and worship began with testimonies from Jeff Shipley, Melba Austin and Vanessa Mills.
We began with congregational singing and special music by Ethel Metcalf. Pastor Bill Austin brought his message Sunday morning from Luke 2:1-7. A lot more room in our little church for more people, but no room in a lot of people’s heart for Jesus. Evidence is in all the empty pews in all the churches. Make room for Jesus in your heart. Make Him King of your life. Christ is the Savior of the World if they would only hear.
December 26 – We came together Wednesday evening to praise the Lord and study His word. Service began with singing. Bro. Hi Lambeth took charge of the service by taking prayer requests and praise reports. Bro. Jim Lafferty led in prayer. Bro. Hi read Romans 8:24-39. He spoke of how good it is that Christ loves us. Christ died for us and is making intercession for us to the Father when we are His child. All had good scriptures and thoughts on the word.

December 30 – Sunday school opened with congregational singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone. He took prayer requests and praise reports. Sis. Tracy Shipley led in prayer. Jack read John 3:16-21 for our devotion. Words that will get you to heaven.
After a good Sunday school lesson Happy Birthday was sung to Melba Austin, Tracy Shipley and Roger Harmon.
Praise and Worship began with testimonies from Jeff Shipley, Janice Lafferty, Melba Austin, Jack Essary, Bill Austin and Elsie Combs. We began with congregational singing. Maddie Shipley, Ethel Metcalf and Melissa Harmon all did specials today. Pastor Bill brought the morning message from Genesis 24:58. In heaven they are looking for a bride for the Son. Will you be like Rebekah and say I will go. Will you follow Christ? Make following Christ your resolution this year.
Sunday evening we came together praising the Lord. Bro. Bill took charge of the service. He took prayer requests and praise reports. Bro. Jack Essary led in prayer. Hi Lambeth and Jack Essary both gave testimonies. Bro. Jim Lafferty was our speaker Sunday evening. He brought his message from Lev. 16:30-34 and Numbers 6:23-24. Aren’t you glad that we have an easier atonement than they did in the days of old. All we have to do is come to Christ and ask for forgiveness. He will help us live for Him if we ask. Churches of today need to get serious about bringing in the lost and not be a feel good religion justifying everything we do. Repent and be saved. Without Christ we are lost. Melba closed services by singing a song and giving a testimony.
