Our group was small, however, we had a great Sunday school lesson, good spirit, and many prayers sent up for our loved ones.
Brother Ric spoke from Luke, we all are thinking about the Christmas season and the true meaning of this holy time of year.
We had a wonderful dinner after church Sunday, so much food, lots of laughing and fellowship.
We canceled church Sunday night because of other commitments folks had.
Sunday we will have some poems, readings, songs, etc. for our Christmas.
Mae Cox enjoyed having Josephine Peebles and Mitchell Peebles as visitors. Mae said Josephine was thrilled with a cat her niece gave her. Other visitors of Mae were Tom and Donna Nichols, Lisa Johnson and Jesse. Mae has had a problem getting around but says she is better.
Bessie Hall has spent a few days in HOTOHC. Her visitors have been Jewell, J.C., Lisa, Jo Stephens, Kim Clements, and Kay Hutchison.
Ronnie and Pat Lansdown were in West Plains Tuesday evening to attend the school Christmas program their grandchildren were participating in.
Myrl Cox’s visitors have been Paul, Jeanne and Norma Bogart. Myrl enjoys visiting with her friends daily by phone.
Tom and Jewell Elliott were in Springfield for Tom’s doctor appointment, Tuesday.
Tom and Jewell, James and Tammy Elliott, Shaun and LeAnna Elliott and children, attended the graduation of Miss Ashley Elliott, last Friday.
Ronda Soto and Pat Smith visited Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hathcock, Tuesday.
Jo Stephens and Kay Hutchison attended the Christmas program at Ava General Baptist Church, Sunday night.
Morgan Clements has had a bout of strep and missed several days of school. Morgan also celebrated his birthday on Dec. 12.
Dylan Clements and Sarah Claussen visited Harold and Kay Hutchison, Monday. They later visited their friends, the Dixon boys, in the Arno community.
