We came to the house of our Lord and Saviour to worship this morning. It was a great day to worship the King of Kings. We had special prayer for the Lois Jenkins family, the Trampus Miller family, and all the families in CT. We need to hold up everyone in this time of sorrow.
Just a few annoucements, next Sunday we will be having our Christmas celebration called , “Follow the Star” at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. Come and celebrate with us, we would love to have you. Also there will be a men’s encounter Feb. 22 – 24. It will be a great time with God, sign up at the hub, you will be glad you did.
This morning’s message was from Hebrews 12-14-27 on our God being a consuming fire and on the grace of God . Pastor Buddy did a great job as usual. He brought out some really good points that make you go home and think . One of them was why do we only seem to talk and think about heaven only when things are bad? God allows things to shake us down here so we wll focus more on the things of God. We don’t have to live in fear on this earth but through the grace of God we can have confidence in where we are going. I enjoyed the mesage this morning very much.
We would like to welcome our new youth leaders Ron and Sheila Hunsaker and family. I’m sure they will do a great job with our youth. Our services are at 8:30 and 11:00 Sunday morning, Sunday night at 6:00, Wednesday night Bible study and prayer at 7:00. Come be with us if you don’t have a home church.
