Opening for our morning service with prayer was Joie Welker.
Our Sunday school lesson was on “One In Christ” and to show since we are one in Christ with others who have faith in Him, we can fellowship with them whether they be from a Jewish or Gentile background.
Happy Birthday wishes went out to Janice Young.
Happy Anniversary wishes to Duan and Cindy Young.
Our special song was by Ramona Henning.
We are practicing our Christmas program on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. and our Christmas program willl be Friday night the 21st at 7 p.m. We have a food harvest basket so remember to bring non-parishable items.
Remember all the prayer requests that was given.
Sunday afternoon we had a pink and blue shower at Gentry for Rocca Weyrick as she is having twins.
Pastor Hall’s message was from Isaiah 9:6 and 7, “The Name Of Our Lord.” if only the world would look back to the manger where our Lord Jesus was born. That manger cradled a King. He is the everlasting Father, the prince of peace. The government shall be upon his shoulders. God is in control.
In our evening service many of us returned to church at 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon for practice on the program and in our evening service our special song was by the Gentry Singers.
Bro. Hall’s message was from Luke 18:27, “How To Achieve A Mighty Faith.” Establish your faith in God so it cannot be shaken and stand by it. Tell people what faith in God has done for you and know that you are only in Him.
