I talked with Bonnie Phipps Sunday and she said she had made it out to church but that was all the news she had.
George and Violet Blakey came by and picked up their eggs last Monday and then I went on into town and took my news and dropped off some eggs then I went by the Ava Funeral Home where they had Helen Dobbins body before I came on home. Tara brought Jett over last Tuesday and then Aunt Brittany picked him up.
Jett was here Wednesday too, but Tara came and picked him up. That night Don and Evelyn Bryan picked Martin Hathcock and me up and we went to the church for Bible study and Nina Carter met us there.
Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Marie Dickey, Carol Moore and Hellen Blakey all went Thursday night to the Jerry’s Whirl Winds at the El Rancho Truck Stop and Restaurant over near Cabool.
Nina Carter, Hellen Blakey, Don and Evelyn Bryan all went up to Ozark Friday night to the Stained Glass Theatre where we met my sister, Margaret Allen, and her daughter, Brenda Henslee, and saw the “Carol Singer” and it was another good play. It goes until December 15.
Ellis dropped by Friday morning and brought me my pie pan back.
Saturday I attended Don Graham’s funeral at 2 p.m.
Nina Carter came and picked up a cake and a loaf of homemade bread that I made and took it down to the Plainview School where the Goodhope Fire Dept. was having an auction to raise money Saturday night.
I went down to Don and Evelyn’s Christmas Party Saturday night and had a wonderful time. They feed us then we played a game and then we picked a present out of the middle of the room, it is always fun, there were 11 present.
Lets keep our sick folks in our prayers. There are some in the hospital.
My prayers and sympathy goes out to the Graham and Dobbins families and all the others who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
