Ken and Debbie Cederlind came down Thursday and spent the night and Friday night with her mother Bonnie Phipps and went back home Saturday evening.
Moe and Kaylynn Todd and Alaya came down Friday to Michael Freeman’s home along with Cody and Lily Freeman and her sister, India for Thanksgiving supper at his folks, Mike and Wendee Freeman’s home. Those present for the meal were Bonnie Phipps, Cecilia Edwards, Ken and Debbie Cederlind, Roy and Linda Freeman, Moe and Kaylynn Todd and Alaya, Cody and Lily Freeman and Lily’s sister, India. After the meal Wendee’s sister and family came for awhile.
I took my news in last Monday evening and then went by the Ava Drug Store before I went to our O.E.S. Meeting here in Ava.
I went and saw Bessie Hall last Tuesday. She hasn’t been doing too well the last week or so.
I received one-half of a tenth of an inch of rain last Monday and the rain we got Thanksgiving measured one-tenth of an inch.
Tara brought Jett over Wednesday and Friday.
Thanksgiving Day I stopped by Lloyd and Ruth Shumate’s, Bessie Hall’s and I saw J.C. Hall there and then I went on down to James and Kristie’s for dinner and those present for the big meal that was spread was Kristie’s relatives from Odessa, MO., Chris and Angela Brodeur, their three sons, Ryan, Nick and Dylan, daugther, Madison, granddaughter – Jaelynn Pitloun, and Roger Suhr, Kristie’s mother Josephine Philpott of Hollister, MO., sister Robert and Jody Smith and Luke of Hollister, brother Keith and Cristal Philpott and Christina, Hellen Blakey, James and Kristie Blakey and Lakota, Brittany Kutz, Justin and Tara Coonce and Jett, Kendra Dering and Trae Shelton. Lots of pictures were taken before everyone left. Vernal called me and wished me a Happy Thanksgiving.
Saturday I went to John and Jo’s and got some walnuts to crack for them.
Ric and Lisa Englehardt was back at Mt. Tabor Sunday with their grandson, Tristin.
Sunday after church I went over to Anita Smith’s to eat some more Thanksgiving meal with her family, those present were Anita Smith, Sue Smith, Judy Wilson, Shannan Wilson and Jaylan, Larry and Donna Scribner, Konnor, Annie Blakey and Alexia, Kena Smith and friend Kim, Ellis and Marsha Blakey, Hellen Blakey. After the meal was served we took some pictures. Monica and Joel came up after I got home and she helped me with some papers that I needed to fill out so I didn’t get to church Sunday night.
My sympathy and prayers go out to all who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep all our sick folks in our prayers because they all still need them, add Danny Cutbirth to that list.
Keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in your prayers.
I received a call from Debbi Chance and she told me that some one had taken the concrete bench that they had by the fence in front of Larry’s folks tombstone. This is the second time they have taken it and Debbie said if they would bring it back they would give a reward for it. That is at the Arno Cemetery.
