“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths,” Proverbs 3:5-6.
These were some of the verses Brother Raymond Haden used for God’s message to us Sunday evening. He used several more from the book of John on how there is a lot of people in the world that do not understand God or His word. It is the Christians job to help them understand. It was a very good message. We appreciate him and Sister Naida for helping us while Pastor David was home sick with the flu. They also shared their songs with us.
Please keep Brother Raymond and Sister Naida in your prayers along with Pastor David, all the sick and bereaved, Sister Betty and family, the Turley family, Bob Lambert, unspoken and unsaved, our church family, military, country and leaders, hunters, Christmas program and sister churches.
Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we sang some good old hymns. He read Romans 1:13-17 for the devotion then dismissed us to class. Brother Raymond prayed for the prayer requests.
The children started practicing for the Christmas program.
Brother Bobby Turley took up the tithes and offering.
Sara Maggard, Macee Breeding, Quin Breeding, Bryse Dodson, Dailyn Stanifer and Lidia Stanifer all did the penny march for Camp Piland.
We appreciate our church family so much. Please join us if you need one.
May God bless you all.
