Bro. Dale Porter opened the morning service with a good morning to all. We appreciate Bro. Dale for what he does as we appreciate everyone who is filling in for all the things that we depended on our pastor for. Bro. Paul had us all spoiled. We miss him so much, but we are holding it together with the help of the Lord and I feel that Bro. Paul would be proud of us. We sang for the Lord.
We had many prayer requests for the lost, the sick, lost loved ones, one another and our church. Prayer was led by Sister Juanita.
Sister Mary read the scripture for the morning from Hebrews 11:1-3. Sunday school class began with our leader Sister Mary reading the lesson from II Corinthians 11:1-24. We had comments and discussion from the class. It was a good lesson.
We sang Happy Birthday to Bro. Gregg Moseley. We were blessed to have two young ones to gather up our Coins For Christ gifts. It was then time to sing for the Lord. The choir was large and was in good voice. It is so uplifting to sing praises to the Lord.
We gave our gifts to the Lord and Sister Sharron blessed them with prayer. We had specials from Sister Peggy, Sister Sharron, Sister Juanita and Bro. Dale.
Bro. Gregg Moseley brought the message for the morning service. He used scritpure from Matthew 13:45-46 and Romans 12:1-3. He led in prayer before feeding us the message God gave him. We closed with a song and a prayer.
We gathered together at the church at 4:00 p.m. for some great food and fellowship. We watched a Christian movie, “Pilgrims Progress” which gave us a good message and food for thought. We then gathered together for our prayer circle and had many prayer requests. Bro. Gregg led in prayer. We sang some good hymns and had some specials from Sister Peggy, Sister Sharron and Bro. Gregg and Sister Carla sang together. We had testimonies and closed with prayer from Sister Juanita. We had a great day in the Lord.
