This morning was a cool morning, but was a great day to worship the Lord. Today we had a bluegrass group called Potters Wheel to sing for us in the early service, which we enjoyed very much. Some of the songs were “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms” which everyone of us has had to do at one time . I know I have had to lean on God quite a bit in my life. They also sang “Beulah Land” which really touched me today as I know before very long I will be going to see. The group is really good and I enjoyed them a lot. Our church is having Trunk-Or-Treat October 31 in our parking lot, so bring your children to it. Also this Saturday night at 6 p.m. is our primetimers fellowship. This month it’s Italian food so come if possible. Brother Emery and Sister Denise Tuttle do a breakfast every Sunday morning around 9:30 before our Sunday School classes and they do a great job. We appreciate them very much. Come be with us if you don’t have a home church. Our services are 8:30 and 11:00 Sunday morning and 6:00 Sunday night, prayer and Bible study at 7:00 Wednesday night.
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK; The abundant life is often smothered by the abundant things of this life.
