We had over three inches of rain the past week, the green grass sure looks good, even if it means having to cut it.
Tuesday Norma Cross and I picked Juanita Herrald up and they had lunch at he Ava Drug Store, then went to Heart of the Ozark Healthcare Center. We visited with Peggy Jenkins and Goldie Miller. Goldie is not feeling very good, they took her to the hospital one day last week, but didn’t keep her long. Irine Richards was playing bingo so we didn’t get to see her.
Plainview 7th and 8th graders played two games last week, they won from Skyline. The “A” team lost to Mark Twane and the “B” team won their game.
Friday was grandparents day at Plainview, Dick and I went. There was a big crowd there.
Kyle Thompson is playing Mighty Mites football this year, they are 8, 9, and 10 year olds. They are teaching them pretty young.
Kyle’s friend, Jaden Hicks spent the weekend with him.
Wednesday, Sue Brown and Lodean Schultz went to Springfield to visit with Aunt Sybil Carmichael and had lunch at the Creekside lunch room. Aunt Sybil will soon be 96. Sybil is Sue’s Aunt and Lodean’s sister-in-law.
Lisa Richards sang Sunday morning at Goodhope General Baptist Church.
Pastor David Welsh preached from II Corinthians and II Timothy.
Our attendance was dow to 67 this week.
There is so much sickness, our prayers go out to the Ben Denny family and to all that has lost loved ones.
Certainly enjoying the good rain our heavenly Father sends us. For all good things come from Him.
Tom, Sue Brown, Ervin, Lodean Schultz, Rodney, Lisa and Kayli Brown drove to Mountain Grove to Sue’s brother, Ron, Judy and Jerry Lethco for lunch Saturday to celebrate three September birthdays. Jerry, Rodney and Dianne Garrison. Dianne was unable to be there.
