We were small in number Sunday morning, however, we had a great Sunday school lesson, with lots of discussion, asked the Lord to bless our families and those in need of prayer. Sister Jewell Elliott was our superintendent while we have people away on vacation.
Brother Ric used as his message, “God Is Love” and will continue on this same line for the next few weeks. We urge you to come and join us for any service if you don’t have a regular church home.
September 9, 2-4 p.m., will be our annual Old Folk’s Day celebration. Please come with a song, poem, reading, or any remembrance of days gone by. Invite someone to come with you, we’re sure you will be blessed.
Sister Nina Carter leads our Wednesday evening Bible study, beginning at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome.
Mae Cox’s visitors this past week were Tom and Donna Nichols, Lisa Johnson and Jesse.
Company this week with Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock was Trellis and Wanda Hathcock, Pernie Adams and Dennis, Jim and Jo Hathcock, Eleazor and Ronda Soto and Billy Long.
Bessie Hall and Kim Clements were in West Plains Tuesday to visit Bessie’s sister, Loeta Hall. Others visiting with Bessie this week were Jewell, J.C. and Vicky, Kay Hutchison and Chesten Lietch.
Kay Hutchison visited Thursday with Charley and Joan Pond.
James Elliott visited Tom and Jewell Elliott Sunday evening. Tome and Jewell visited with Albert and Doris Elliott, Saturday night.
