Opening prayer to start our morning service was by Narvil Tetrick.
Our lesson in Sunday School class was, “Praise For God’s Justice.” At times we are encouraged by those who promise us justice and equality if elected to office and they may fall short. This dose of realism can be good for us, we need to put our trust in the right place, back to the Bible.
Happy Birthay wishes went out to Narvil Tetrick and Happy Anniversary wishes went out to Rod and Joanne Welker for 41 years of marriage and to Josh and Erin Allen celebrating 6 years of marriage.
Our special was a reading by Pauline Welker.
Many prayer requests were given and still remember Harley Allen and Joanna Huffman in your prayers. We did have a praise report for Charley Cheek who suffered serious injuries from a horse accident. He is home from the hospital now and walking some with a walker.
Harley and Faye Allen attended the Swofford and Plummer Reunion over in Branson at the Best Western Motel. There was 108 people in attendance and all enjoyed singing, skits, games and the auction.
Pastor Hall’s morning message was from Ezekiel 3:10-22, “The Hand of The Lord Was Upon Me and Is On Us, Also.” His hand made thee watchman and sends you to give them warning. We are suppose to do that and let the hand of God do the work.
In our evening service we had testimonies and our specials song was by the group of Janice and Delores Young, Wendell Deo, Narvil Tetrick and Wanda Casady.
Pastor Hall’s evening message was from Hebrews 6:13-20, which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast. Our only hope is in Jesus Christ and without him we have no hope.
