Everyone seemed to be very busy over the fourth of July weekend. The newspaper printed early and I didn’t get the article into the paper. We had a good service on Sunday, July 1. Bro. Dennis Shumate and family joined us at Happy Home. He brought the morning message. They also sang for us when we had specials. Sister Peggy had a special and her son, Bill, joined her. We had a good day in the Lord.
Sister Naomi opened the morning service with a good morning to all. We sang for Jesus, had a prayer requests and there were many Bro. Garyr Hall led in prayer. Sister Naomi read scripture from James 1:5-6. Our Sunday school began with Sister Peggy leading in prayer and reading the lesson from I Corinthians 12:1-31. We had comments and discussion from all.
We sang for the Lord and had specials from Sister Peggy, Bro. Garry Hall. Bro. Garry Hall and his wife, Donna, joined us at Happy Home and brought the morning message. Bro. Hall used Revelations 22:7-10. He brought us a good message from the Lord. He prayed and asked Sister Peggy to dismiss.
Our evening service began with our prayer circle. We had many prayer requests. Prayer was led by Bro. Marvin. We sang some good hymns and had specials from Sister Peggy and Sister Patsy.
Bro. Marvin brought the message from Luke 9:37-42. It was a good message from the Lord. We closed with a song and prayer. Sister Patsy dismissed with prayer.
