Psalm 96:4 “For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised.”
Wednesday evening service was enjoyed by all. Psalm 103:17, “But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting, upon them that fear him.” The commentary said, “the infinite span of God’s love over reaches man’s little time.” The text was in John 3:13-18 and as Moses was lifted up in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted. We all know what the 16th verse says, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begetton son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Saturday morning at 10:00, we had our ladies meeting. Shantelle Emmerson was the speaker. She did a great job. Her question was, what does the word Hell mean to you? There were a lot of different answers, one thing we know, hell is real and we are going there or heaven, be sure you know your destination.
We had several prayer requests for Norma, Colleen, Lauren, Betty H. Bevy and Linda P., traveling grace for family members, also for Ryan, Marvin and Don Graham and David Lamb.
The morning message was Acts 23:6, I Peter 3:10, James 1:26, Phil, 1:27, whatever you say can and will be held against you. Words proceeding out of your mouth can do damage that can’t be undone. Gossip need not be a Christian’s habit. Let the Holy Spirit lead you in your talk.
During the evening service God blessed in a mighty big way. We circled up and gave thanks to God for the rain that was falling. The rain was in God’s time, not in ours, it’s so hard to wait upon the Lord. We want it, when we want it. We had a lot of good specials and a sweet spirit was in this place.
