Caney Church went to service at White River Youth Camp Wednesday evening. It’s a blessing to the young people who worship the Lord.
Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone and prayer requests and praise reports were taken. Bro. Jeff Shipley led in prayer. Jack read Micah 6:1-8 for our devotion. We dismissed to study God’s word. Testimony was given by Jeff Shipley.
Praise and Worship began with singing. Melissa Harmon did a special. Pastor Bill Austin brought our Sunday morning message from Acts 17:31. There is no cure for many of our diseases. Some of them have only one thing that will cure them. Sin is a terrible disease, but it has a cure through the blood of Christ. We can have an assurance of eternal life.
We had a blessed day in the Lord and a good discussion in Sunday school. It was a spirit filled message. We then had a wonderful time of fellowship and food after the morning service.
Our evening service began with singing. Bro. Jeff Shipley welcomed everyone. We have so many concerns. Sis. Lila Roberts led in prayer. Testimonies were given by Melba Austin, Bill Austin, Janice Lafferty and Hi Lambeth.
Bro. Jim Lafferty brought the evening message from II John 2, St. John 18:34. We have a lot of Love, Mercy, Grace given to us by Jesus. Are we really deserving of this? Being sorry is not repentance. Repentance is a change of mind and heart.
Jesus has rescued us from sin and shame. If we only believe the truth that Jesus born of a virgin died on the cross and rose from the dead. Be a standard bearer, stand for Christ.
It was a good message from God on high.
