I talked with Bonnie Phipps Sunday and she was doing just fine. She got out and went to church.
Jo Stephens took me to Liz Bailey’s funeral last Monday, but there wasn’t that many out because the news of her passing hadn’t gotten around.
Jo and I went up and visited with Bessie Hall before we came on home.
Violet came and picked up her eggs and then that evening I went to our O.E.S. meeting which was our last one for the summer.
Kay Hutchison came by last Tuesday and picked up my news and got her eggs.
Tyler and Kayla Cornett and Cathy came and brought me two gallons of blackberries which the kids picked and they were cleaned and in bags to freeze. I sure appreciated it because I couldn’t get out and pick right now. That evening I went up to John and Jo Stephens’ and took them an anniversary card and a gift. I called Jewell Elliott that morning and wished her a Happy Birthday.
Those present at Bible Study Wednesday night were Nina Carter, Martin Hathcock, Don and Evelyn Bryan and Hellen Blakey. We finished up with God’s Prophetic Calendar From Calvary To The Kingdom,. This Wednesday we will start something new.
Jo took me into town Thursday and we dropped some eggs off that Sherry had brought to me that morning and then I did some business and then we went to Wal-Mart before coming home.
I got out Saturday and delivered some more eggs that evening. Mark, Sherry and Mark Weston dropped me off some more eggs before Mark Weston went to ball practice Sunday evening.
Lets keep those prayer going for our sick folks. Some are seeing doctors and next week there are two that will be operated on and I go this Tuesday to get my stitches out. I ask you to say a special prayer for Bill Baughn.
My sympathy and prayers go out to all that have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and the women in the service and their families and the ones who are in training in our prayers.
