Bro. Scottie Eaves’ wife, Shanna,and family joined us at Happy Home for morning services today. Bro. Scottie filled in as our leader in Sunday school also. We sang for Jesus and Bro. Scottie read scripture from Psalms 48:1-2.
Sunday school began with prayer by our Sunday school class leaders Sister Peggy. She then read the 9th chapter from Romans. We had class discussion and comments.
We sang for the Lord some great hymns. We had specials from Sister Peggy, Sister Juanita, Sister Dianne and Bro. Mike. We gathered our gifts for the Lord. Sister Ulla led in prayer.
Bro. Scottie greeted all with a good morning. He then read scripture from Ephesians 6:1-4. He prayed and began a great message. He also read from II Timothy 3:1-5 and Matthew 3:13-17. He continued with more of a great message from the Lord. We closed with a song of invitation. Sister Juanita dismissed with prayer.
The evening service began with our prayer circle. We had many prayer requests. Sister Ulla led in prayer. We sang for Jesus. Specials by Sister Peggy, Sister Juanita, Sister Ulla and Bro. Marvin. Bro. Marvin brought the message from I Corinthians chapters 12&13. It was a great message from the Lord. Sister Mary dismissed us with prayer.
We will have our Saturday Night Singing the 23rd of June at 7 p.m. Come join us for some good fellowship and good singing. Bring your songs and instruments.
Bro. Ray Dobbs will be bringing the message for the morning service Sunday, June 24.
