Our guest speaker for Wednesday evening was Bob Husky. His message was found in Luke 15:11. We all know the story of the prodigal son. The message was in three parts, I Love You, I Forgive You and Come To Supper. Before we can do any of those things we have to do what verse 17 says, “And when he came to himself.” God loves us. We are not worthy of it, but Jesus freely gave his life that when we come to ourselves, we can come to the marriage supper.
Sunday morning service was started with many prayer requests, Marvi and Don G., Linda’s grandson, Doris Elliott, Missy B., unspoken, Betty Smith and Betty H.
The morning message was on feeding the hungry and thirsty, clothing not only in the spiritual realm, but the physical also. Jesus commands this, read Matthew 25:31-46.
The evening message was I Corinthians 15:58, tells us to be steadfast unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that you labour is not in vain in the Lord. How do we stand up to this verse? Are we lacking?
