Lyndon and Linaia Pitcock from Fair Grove came to visit me Saturday and brought their grandbaby, Chloe Mae Wright, now 5 months old, to get acquainted with me, her great-grandma. Her mother and daddy were both on their jobs in Springfield.
Maxine Smith and Doris Treiber stopped in to see me one day last week.
I can admire a good garden that Shane Pendergrass has growing nearby. I was unable to plant a garden this year. And old habits are hard to give up.

Edith McKinnon and granddaughter Sharon Garcia enjoyed visiting the Dawt Mill craft show with local artists, including pottery from Ava, jewelry, turkey calls and a variety of other crafts, on Sunday afternoon.
