Bonnie Phipps, Cecilia Edwards, Michael and Wendee Freeman and family all went to Roy and Linda Freeman’s Thursday afternoon to help Roy celebratee his 60th birthday.
Debbie Cederlind, Moe and Kaylynn Todd and little Alaya came down Saturday and they picked Bonnie Phipps up and they went over and had the fourth generation pictures taken then they came back to Bonnie and Ceceilia, Michael, Wendee and family came over to see the new little one who was nine days old. Roy and Linda dropped by before they went to Springfield. Bonnie got out Sunday and went to church even though it was cold.
Justin brought Jett over last Monday and came and got him that evening and then I went to my O.E.S. meeting and some of our new members were there.
Tara brought Jett over last Tuesday and Justin picked him up. Little Jett was out side too much over the weekend and he had a runny nose, but we got along just fine because I got to cuddle him more.
After Mark dropped some eggs off Wednesday I went by Patty Kraft’s and visited with her for a while then I went on into town and delivered the rest of the eggs then I went by Mary Lou and Ronnie Garfit’s and dropped some books off for Mary Lou. Violet Blakey came by Thursday and picked up her eggs. Tara brought Jett that day and Justin picked him up.
Friday morning I poured out one-tenth of an inch of rain in my gauge before I went over where my sister, Mollie McPheeters had her appointment and I sat with Dale until she came out and then we went out and ate, Dale had a doctor appointment at two-thirty so when they brought me back to my car I went over and visited with Vernal and then on over to Donna’s before I came on home.
Saturday was our Missouri Association so I drove down there because when I came back I stopped by the Fannon Cemetery and then I went to the Spring Creek Cemetery and took the old flowers off and I picked up a lot that had been blown off and cut up. I dropped by James’, but I guess every one was gone. I wanted to see if he had his garden plowed and he didn’t. I went by the drug store and picked up some medicine and got an ice cream cone.
Don and Evelyn Bryan, Martin Hathcock and Kay Hutchison was already down at the youth camp when I got there.
Rick Englehardt brought the morning and evening service at Mt. Tabor Sunday and they were wonderful messages. Sunday afternoon the church went to the nursing home and sang for the people up there and then Don Bryan spoke to the people and dismissed with prayer.
I went over to the Ava Full Gospel Church where they were giving my great niece, Brittany Keith and Andy Mayberry, a wedding shower. The basement was full when I got there. They received a lot of gifts, but I couldn’t see all they got because I was in the back.
Betty DeChenne is the mother of Jayme Keith and gramother of Brittany Keith.
I talked with my niece, Betty DeChenne, while there and we talked about the Blakey Reunion coming up June 2.
Lets keep all our sick folks in our prayers. Some of those prayers have been answered so keep on praying.
My prayers and sympathy go out to all who have lost a loved one.
