5-16-2012. We received a little over an inch of much needed rain Sunday. Tuesday the 10th of April, Norma Cross, Kenny Hunt, Dick and I drove to Huntsville, Arkansas. Bill and Sue Johnson and Georgia Sanders from Claremore, Oklahoma and Pete and Sandra Jenkins from Fayetteville, Arkansas met at the Marshall Cemetery north of Huntsville, Arkansas. Our aunt, Sharon Kay McGinnis from Eureka, Arkansas met us there also. Our granddad, and Sharon Kay’s father is buried there. After decorating family graves we all went to a café in Huntsville for lunch. After visiting for a while we all went to our homes.
Goodhope General Baptist Church went to Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center Sunday afternoon. There was some singing and the children passed out some little gifts and Pastor David Welsh brought a message.
Dick had several guys come by last week. Stetson Levell, Jay Groth and Terry Nelson brought him some fresh mushrooms, boy were they ever good.
Kinsey, Kailey, Kyle and I went looking for mushrooms this evening, but we didn’t find any.
Irene Richards spent a couple days with Tony and Lisa over the weekend. I visited with them Saturday evening.
