What another wonderful week spent in the presence of God throughout our services here at New Hope and hopefully and prayerfully in our lives outside of church. Wednesday evening Bro. Ludwig took us through our lesson over Exodus, chapter 20 “The Ten Commandments.”
Sunday morning we besought the Lord in prayer to start off our service and dismissed to Sunday school. The children learned about Easter last week so this week we focused on after the resurrection and did “The Raod to Emmaus” and made Road To Emmaus trail mix to go along with it. The adults studied the second part of Acts, chapter 4. Pastor Talbert’s morning message and delivery of God’s word was from Zechariah 10:1 and Joel 23:29, “Let It Rain.”
At 6:15 in the evening we have a new meeting starting here at New Hope – God seekers” dealing with what it is truly to seek and go after God and also intercessory prayer. Our evening service has been real wonderful with our pastor doing a teaching/preaching series on the book of Revelation in our evening services, and we are only through the 1st chapter beginning on the second, you don’t want to miss out or get too far behind so be sure and join us for that. Of course wewant you to join us for any and all services at New Hope. We are located at 205 N.E. 14th Ave. and our service times are as follows: Wedneday evening Bible study at 7 p.m. and Sunday school at 10 a.m. and morning services at 11 a.m., God Seekers at 6:15 p.m. and evening service at 7:00 p.m.
“When thou saidest, seek ye my face; my heart, said unto thee, thy face, Lord, will I seek,” Psalms 27:8.
