A good morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a safe and good weekend. The weather was just great for a picnic or cookout.

This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. Saturday afternoon Wanda Hutchinson came by and picked up Fae then went to a show in Branson. We had a good time and we ate at Cracker Barrell. My visitors were Lois Graham, Evelyn Witchey.
This news from the desk of Ellis and Emmalyn Stephens. The children of Emmalyn had a 70th birthday party for her on March 24 at Red Bud Village. About 70 people were present. A sister, grandson, and great grandson were not able to attend. Three sisters and her brother were there. Three of her four children, twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren were present. Two of the Conley girls and their husbands came. The girls were childhood friends and lots of other friends.
The 24th was Edna Frye’s 96th birthday. She was there to help me enjoy the day. Several from Red Bud had a birthday that week. As I get older I realize what a blessing my family and friends are.

Visitors of Norma Jones has been Peggy Greene, Naomi, Jacob Watkins and Deloris D. Norma got phone calls from an old classmate who lives in Springfield. Her friends would know her as Shirley Copeland from West Dogwood as she grew up in the Wagner School District. We had a real nice visit and it was good to hear from her. Also talked to Robin and Stephinie from Mansfield. Good to hear from them too. I enjoy calls from friends and family to check on me.
I “Norma” spent Friday night and Saturday all day at the farm with the girls and Jacob. I “Norma” stopped by the office and visited with Kim Watkins for a while to check on them as I hadn’t seen them for a while.
I’ll sign off now as I just went blank so have a good week and stay healthy.
